We believe your ‘heyday’ is a journey of consistent progress toward your best self—starting with your skin. Ten years ago we set out to make better skin accessible to more people, and today we continue leveling up what facials can do.
Through the years
It’s brunch in NYC, and our co-founder, Adam, is having Bloody Marys with friends. Someone wants a facial that same day, but no one knows where to go or who to trust. The lightbulb goes off. Adam brings in his friend, Michael. Business modeling, customer surveying, and testing ensues.
It’s a rainy day in June, but that’s good fortune, right? We open our doors, and the first crew of Estheticians go through Heyday’s coveted training program. Well+Good announces who we are and 150 appointments come through in minutes. Nine months later, we’re named ‘Best Facial’ by New York Magazine, and we’re off!
By the end of 2017, we’ve expanded across Manhattan, earning the attention and hearts of even more New Yorkers. In 2018 we go westward! NY + LA = a powerhouse brand that propels us to expand elsewhere, including online.
We begin our R&D process and with input from our Estheticians, we create 18 highly efficacious products that can yield 125+ facial formula combinations, aka the highest level of customization for our clients’ skin. These proprietary products still make up our backbar today.
“Holy Grail?” It’s the beauty award Cosmopolitan recently gave us - not too shabby. We’ve opened more locations, and today have 35 studios across the U.S. As we progress toward our own heyday, we’re building a bright future—and pioneering more advanced ways to bring you your best skin.
